Important Notes: The nozzle at high-flow fuel stations (truck stops) will not be able to fill automatically.

This tank holds approximately 60 gallons of fuel. The float's empty position in the S&B Tank is the same as the OEM tank. Since the bottom surface area on the S&B Tank is larger, the 60-gallon tank with have a greater fuel reserve.

According to the Ford TSB 17-0046. If your truck has a build date prior to 3-20-17. Replace the fuel Level Sender Resistor Card Assembly with Ford part # HC3Z-9A299-N.

If you purchased this tank prior to 1/1/2024, it won't fit 2023+ High Output models as a revision was made to accommodate the fuel line going to the DPF.

EASY RECALIBRATION FOR DISTANCE TO EMPTY

We offer a free service to update the computer in your truck so the Distance to Empty (DTE) displays the accurate range. This works for 2011-2022 Ford trucks. For '23+ Ford Super Duty trucks, we offer a DTE recalibration module.

COMPATIBLE WITH THE OE SKID PLATE.

If you don't have a skid plate on your truck already, no problem! But if you do, unlike other competitor tanks, we designed the S&B Tank to allow you to reuse the factory skid plate. We also designed a smaller, factory style skid plate to cover the front of the larger S&B Tank.

AFTERMARKET LIFT PUMP

S&B Tanks work with OEM and aftermarket lift pumps. Aftermarket lift pumps(FASS & Airdog) provide more fuel to your diesel engine but face issues at a 1/4 tank fuel level. The S&B sending unit allows you to drive to empty with your aftermarket lift pump. Completely plug and play, with no need to modify your OEM tank or sending unit.
